What does one do when at loose ends?
May. 14th, 2019 07:43 am Why...decided to make elaborate macrame fringe with them! I've been looking forward to this point for quite some time: no current deadlines for Floodtide, my Kalamazoo paper has been successfully given, no major deadline commitments (just the little everyday ones from the blog and podcast). And I'm inclined to laze back and enjoy the feeling for the rest of May before starting a new significant project. I'm "inclined" to do that, but I probably won't because what would I do with my morning coffee shop writing sessions if I don't have an ongoing project?
And those "little everyday deadlines for the blog and podcast"? For the last several months I've been able to look at the schedule spreadsheet and see material lined up and uploaded for weeks or even months ahead of time. At the moment, having posted yesterday's LHMP blog, I have absolutely no blog or podcast items actually complete and uploaded. So maybe what I'll really do for the rest of May is prime that pump again.
What in the world do people do who don't live this sort of life?
