I recall an SCA event where there were Visitors From Afar. It was early in my apprenticeship to hrj, and I was explaining to the visitors that I also considered myself an apprentice to staffordcastle.

The visitor asked, "So which of them do you think is more authenticity minded?'

After I stopped laughing, I said, "I don't have any idea. Besides, how would we find someone to judge it?" (If there's anyone else out there who knows both of them, you'll know why this is funny.)

The next time I saw staffordcastle I mentioned this conversation, and her answer was, "I think it would have to be a duel of honor!"
