Update on 4/26 - I made another drop to Home Depot once I'd done the walk-down of the irrigation system and determined what upkeep was needed. Amazingly, there was only one place where nibbling by thirsty rodents required a line repair. But the hard water had corroded most of the quick-connect fittings that I used for most of the hose connections, and the faucet splitter was corroded enough where it screws onto the faucet that it was leaking badly, so it needed replacement. I also needed to replace the timer mechanism, which is really annoying since I have to do it almost every year, but for that reason I have several spares already in stock.
