Interesting. In thinking about what sorts of recipes I'd want to do, I'm leaning strongly towards ones that involve a fair amount of "process" as opposed to thinking in terms of taste or overall meal balance. Which only makes sense. But it means that I'm rethinking whether to cook from Anthimus given how simple most of the dishes are. Not a problem, since I've tagged about 40 possibilities in the other books that look fun. Now to figure out a shopping list that gives me the greatest flexibility and coverage among those dishes without necessarily committing me to a specific set.
